As you as I opened the door it smelt awful. Like the carpets had been washed and not aired the room after wards. It smelt like wet dog. Not appealing

I have stayed at the Mantra before and will probably stay again at some stage as it's centrally located and reasonably priced. A few issues though that were very annoying: The light above the bed kept turning on and off - the sheets were very noisy and every time we turned over they woke us. The biggest issue was the washing machine which was broken, we tried to get it to work for 3 days and kept asking reception who finally allowed us to was in another room, though even then our washing wasn't dry, they were very wet.

Bad experience reception was close took ages to get trough to some one on the phone to check in then book for 5 people to find out the 5th bed wasn’t made no were there sheets and pillows to make it and could not get staff to come and make it Honestly horrible experience did not expected that for an accor Hotel Mantra i never use them again very disappointed

Window onto street stuck open.

Poor. The window was stuck open and I could hear cars and people talking all night. Despite my best efforts I could not shut it. They replaced the winder the next day but this should have been closed and fixed before I arrived.
