I had booked the room for 7 nights as I was in Brisbane for professional training course. I arrived in early evening (5pm) only to find there were no lights or a lamp in the lounge room where I could sit and read materials. It was very dark. The staff were very helpful, but said I'd probably have to move to another room and also took a photo of my materials to encourage management to buy a lamp. In the evening when I went to sleep, there were no curtains in part of the bedroom - the street lights were coming in very brightly into my room making it very difficult to sleep. In the morning, I went to start cooking some breakfast only to find there were no pots or pans in the kitchen for me to do this. The phone to the reception was also not working so that I could get someone to drop the kitchen items off despite me dialling the number. This is really not good service. If I can't sleep, eat, or read, then what was the point of the hotel apartment??? In the morning when I checked out, I was informed a payment would be made - but I insisted that this needed to be in writing as I was walking out without any correspondence or payment receipt. The process was laborious - they said it could take up to 2 weeks for approval and bank transfer. I had to call a few times to ensure that this was done as I was now needing to find a new place to say AND be out of financial pocket. This refund should have been done On the Spot - like other professional hotels would do. I also was charged $250 for a night's stay - just a horrible experience. The staff were very nice to deal with and did the best they could. But senior management need to look at the facilities they have promised guests, and ensure it is of the standard they have advertised. It's not good enough.

really good and so easy to commute the city, a little angry no one told us about the bike race so had to wait 1/2hour in car park driveway to leave and then if i signed up to mantra i would not have to pay car parking a day $ 4o.00, should of signed up, stayed 4 days grr, but was mad about leaving and did not

Check in was really difficult I called around 11 to add my Accor number to the booking as my company had made it on my behalf. When I went to check in it had not been added so being a gold member I got no welcome amenities. I asked if I could please have a bottle of water she was very reluctant to give it over. She asked for my card to pay for the booking however my company had sent through a credit card authorization form. But because this woman was still "newish" she said she didn't know how to access the emails. I asked if my membership number had been added as she was the women I spoke to at 11am and she said she didn't know how to do it. I stayed there 9 nights. The room was average and the couch was unusuable as it had lots of mysterious white marks all over it. The dryer was only able to take a quarter load even though it said 4kg limit. 3 days in I asked for fresh towels and for the hand lotion to be topped up as it was empty. I was provided with the towels however the dirty ones were still left in the room and moisturizer was never topped up I had to ask for this the next day. 7 days in I asked for the room to please be cleaned. I came back to only the sheets changed and towels changed except for the hand towel. The bathroom nor kitchen had been cleaned and bins were still full. The next day I asked could this please be done again and told them about the dryer and stains on the couch. That day the toilet was not cleaned but the sink was. Bins still had not been emptied. Couch still dirty. To top off the stay when I checked out they said my company hadn't sent the credit card form. I called my company and it was sent on the Monday (3 days ago) but because everyone has personalized emails it hadn't been processed and I had to resend it to the person on reception. Very disappointing stay I then moved to the mantra on Mary which is a much better run facility.
