Wonderful staff. We received an upgraded room had a nice bottle of wine in our room. Mantra Southbank Brisbane is close to all sorts of amenities, restaurants hotels and a great beach for swimming. This hotel is close to Brisbane CBD within walking distance or close to ferry services

POSITIVES: Very clean, spacious and comfortable room (728). Lovely staff. You are right in the midst of the Southbank eateries, close to the gardens, weekend markets, etc. and BCEC is only a 5 minute walk. Being able to use the cloak room for my suitcase pre check-in and post checkout (due to Con-X-ion shuttle bus booking times) was a much appreciated service, allowing me to spend extra time around Southbank. Although my room was on the side of the train and bus corridor, it was very well soundproofed, and blackout curtains worked well. Very comfortable bed. NEGATIVES: The "Guide" function on the TV was not available, so finding programs was rather frustrating. There is a small amount of rust on the bathtub (not affecting the area you use) and the replacement toilet seat does not match the bowl, but these small issues did not bother me, especially when compared to the other good things about the room. VERDICT: I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay there again.

Excellent location within easy walking distance of all Southbank experiences.

We like the location. We have stayed with you previously. This time however the room was not as good. The bed was not as comfortable I believe it maybe almost ready to replace. The carpet was ripped near the bathroom door creating a trip hazard (I reported on checkout). The corridor leading to the room was in need of cleaning with the same plaster pieces (where someone didn’t navigate their door way) on the carpet for the duration of our stay as well as pieces of sequence so it was not new plaster.
