Lovely setting for our Meditation retreat

The room was nice, and located in a good spot, quiet overlooking the gardens and good sized verandah on second floor to enjoy the breeze (south facing wing 4), having a full kitchen with large fridge and dishwasher made it very functional. The deep bath was relaxing. The bed and pillows were comfy. However I found the shutters on windows poorly designed so you could not open both sides at the same time and they let in a lot of light. They were also in poor condition, heavier curtains would be a better option. The resort itself being located so close to the beach and walk path was also very nice. But it is a weird design walking out to the end of each wing.

Surprisingly poor.

The Hotel lost our booking. The room was surprisingly filthy; I wouldn't rate the cleaning more than 5/10 and was extremely dusty for those allergy sufferers. The shower and dishwasher both leaked flooding the floors, and the springs in the beds were horrendous, so much so we had to double over towels on the bed to be able to sleep, as we ended-up with bruises. I was really shocked at how poor quality the hotel was for the price. It certainly didn't ruin my experience though, just something to remember next time I go to Kingscliff; to stay somewhere else.

Room could have been cleaner, more information could have been given upon arrival, like closes shops,what to do if you wanted more towels or towels for pool what to do with your rubbish while staying ,

Well located and have stayed there before

I am a regular Mantra customer and have stayed twice at this location in Kingscliffe. Overall this is a wonderful location but I did think the apartment was rather dated and reverse cycle air conditioner did not work. We were also not able to watch free to air television on the main set. Other than this all was well and we were happy with out stay. Fortunately it wasn’t too hot to require cooling but someone did come up to look at it but was unable to fix it.
