The people of Parramatta are extremely proud of their heritage, and we can see why. Three of Australia’s oldest European buildings (Elizabeth Farm, Dairy Cottage and Old Government House) are located in the city along with Australia's oldest cemetery (St John’s), oldest surviving church site, oldest military site and more! Get Outside and Active – Parramatta Park and Beyond

Enjoy the fresh air and leafy outlook at Parramatta Park. Wander through rose gardens, cycle the 3.2 kilometre bicycle loop around the western half of the park or see how many of the 140 kinds of wildlife you can spot, including eels, turtles, water dragons and flying foxes, complete with their own camp. Beat the heat at James Ruse Reserve, the city’s largest water play area or head to Sydney Olympic Park (just down the road) for a game or the Sydney Royal Easter Show.
