This year marks the seventh outing for this highly popular festival, and with an exciting roster of both local and international musicians set to take the stage, you'll definitely want to get your holiday plans sorted out as fast as you can!

If you've booked your stay at one of Mantra's holiday apartments on the Sunshine Coast such as Mantra Sirocco, there are plenty of ways to get to the festival through train, bus or car, with two park & ride locations available with free parking.

The history of the Caloundra Music Festival

The aim of the festival is to bring a "broad audience of locals and visitors together" to help celebrate a gathering of world-class music, food, arts and culture in a beautiful location on the Sunshine Coast.


"The 2013 Caloundra Music Festival will be held from October 4-7 and has a wide variety of artists coming to entertain the crowds.


This is a not-for-profit community event which takes place annually to showcase the environment, achievements and community spirit of Caloundra.

Held at Kings Beach, festival goers get to enjoy a diverse lineup of acts in a great beach setting, with a colourful street parade, carnival, and live art performances scheduled along with buskers and free children's entertainment.

This year's program

The 2013 Caloundra Music Festival will be held from October 4-7 and has a wide variety of artists coming to entertain the crowds.

ARIA award-winning band Boy & Bear will be playing, enchanting audiences with their hit singles 'Mexican Mavis' and 'Rabbit Song' along with songs from their debut album 'Moonfire'.

Xavier Rudd is another big name on the bill, with seven audio albums and multiple ARIA nominations under his belt.

This year's festival will also see the likes of Time of My Life, The Screaming Jets, Donavon Frankenreiter and Katchafire taking to the stage, as well as many more.
