Eat Drink Perth 2015

Eat Drink Perth is set to celebrate all things delicious about the WA capital. Not only will many of its hospitality businesses be hosting their own little parties, competitions and events, but you can also visit a number of pop-up venues and markets too.

So what sort of events are on during Eat Drink Perth?

For starters, the Opening Night takes place on Wednesday March 18, from 5pm until 10pm. You will find it kicking off at the Night Noodle Markets, which will be hosted in the Perth Cultural Centre until March 29.

On March 26 you should head to Perth's Print Hall to indulge in the one-off Chef Collaboration Dinner. This amazing culinary showcase takes place across three levels of the building - each offering a unique experience. Shaun Preslend and Matt Stone, whom you may have seen starring on Masterchef, will be there, as will one of the country's leading patissiers: Adriano Zumbo.

You can also see this same trio the next night, March 27, for a free Meet the Chefs book signing event at the Twilight Hawkers Market.

Make sure you also keep an eye out for the all-you-can-eat pizza competition, World of Whisky Tour, Eat Drink Walk Perth small bar tour and all of the other exciting events taking place around the city during this month-long extravaganza.

How to get around Perth

Those not local to Perth might be wondering how best to navigate between the events here.

If you are staying for the entire month, it would be worth investigating the city's digital ticketing system, SmartRider. You can pick one of these cards up at any Transperth Info Centre, or at plenty of selected retailers around the city.

You should also know that the CBD is actually a free transit zone, meaning as long as you hop on and off your bus within the area, you won't pay a cent! This includes not just buses, but trains too. You can check out the free transit zone map on Transperth's website.
