Catch Keith Urban light the fuse at Sydney's Allphones Arena

Catch Keith Urban in Sydney this June. Catch Keith Urban light the fuse at Sydney's Allphones Arena

Slide on your cowboy boots, grab your straw hat and get ready to hear plenty of fiddle, guitar, banjo and bass. Why? Because one of Australia's - and the world's - favourite country stars, Keith Urban himself, is set to hit stages across the country as part of his exciting and dynamic Light the Fuse tour around Australia.

The Kiwi-born, Aussie-raised country star has been taking the world by storm in recent years, not just with his incredible hit music but also with his appearances on popular television shows The Voice and American Idol.

Fans of Keith Urban and country music will be flocking to Sydney for June 21 and 22 for his Light the Fuse tour performances at the Allphones Arena.

The tour's named after Keith's seventh studio album Fuse, which was released in September 2013 and quickly became the star's fourth number one album. It broke records across the board, marking the first time a male country artist debuted top on the all-genre charts in the USA, Australia and Canada. Not bad all for a boy who grew up in Caboolture!

Plus he didn't stop there. Little Bit of Everything, the album's first single, topped the country charts, as did We Were Us, his hit single with fellow country legend Miranda Lambert. That gave our very own Keith his fifth number one song in a row.

His latest smash hit Cop Car, which was released in January, has also experienced incredible success. It seems that Keith Urban is a global country force that just can't be stopped - so why not catch him live and become a part of his inspiring musical legacy?

You certainly won't be disappointed, as Keith Urban's performances are widely acclaimed as some of the best in the biz. Keith's last Australian tour The Story So Far took place in 2013 and completely wowed the crowds, selling out across the country.

This time around expect even more electrifying energy, incredible production values, crystal-clear sound and bucketloads of charisma emanating from Keith himself as the seasoned star hits the stage. Take a cue from the name 'Light the Fuse' - from light, sound, effects and plenty of surprises, it's sure to leave all your senses spellbound.

Light the Fuse is set to be an incredibly iconic tour not just for Keith himself, but for country music as a whole, so don't miss out on the chance to catch the action in person.

Make a weekend of it

If you're heading to Keith's Sydney show from out of town, why not make a weekend of it? Stay for a couple of days so you can really soak in all the action, from Keith's concert to everything else Sydney has to offer.

When it comes to nearby accommodation in Sydney you can't go past the Mantra Parramatta. This is great place to stay as it's in close proximity to the Allphones Arena where Keith will be playing. With studio rooms, executive spa rooms, and one and two bedroom apartments on offer, it's got everything you need for your weekend in Sydney catching Keith perform.

The other option would be to stay closer to the central city where you can enjoy all the attractions, hustle and bustle the CBD has to offer. Mantra 2 Bond Street offers up one, two and three bedroom apartments, while at the Mantra on Kent you can choose from a studio or a one or two bedroom apartment.

Wherever you choose to stay, get ready to revel in country charm and hear that all-familiar twang when Keith lights up the stage - and the fuse - in Sydney this June.
