Woodbridge (1885) is a beautiful heritage building overlooking the Swan River near the historic town of Guildford. Stop in to enjoy a cup of tea in the old coach house adjacent to Woodbridge, which is now a tea-room and gift shop.

Take a look around the impressive two-storey residence which features white iron lacework, wide verandas and a central tower. Its interior has been carefully restored and furnished to reflect the late Victorian and early Edwardian periods.

Woodbridge House was built in 1885 for Charles Harper and family, the house was considered one of the most gracious in Western Australia. It remained a private home until 1920 when it became a private school.

Located just 30 minutes east of Perth. Guildford is well worth a day trip to soak up the historic beauty, traditional landscapes and friendly village atmosphere. Spend some time combing through antique shops or just wandering the main street admiring the old buildings.
