The transportable office still being used as a reception was very uninviting. Last time I stayed I thought it was just a temporary office but no, it’s still being used. Soap dispensers were empty. No answer twice from the room to reception to request the dispensers to be filled. Dirty balcony with drink and food spillage and stains. Odd glassware with a shortage of sizes of glasses for the amount of people. Parking was difficult due to the workmen taking up the majority of spaces. It just wasn’t up to scratch like it used to be.

The 3 bedroom apartment was not clean the ensuite smelt of mould the ensuite shower leaked the carpet was dirty and stained the paintwork was chipped and dirty the outside balcony had some persons name written in the dusty glass which clearly had been cleaned overall very dirty.

This accomodation is very tired. The walls paint is peeling, two side lamps didn’t have bulbs and the outside light didn’t work. There is no coffee maker in the 3 bed apartment even though this is advertised. There is mould in the showers and the window blinds broken. The sliding door wheels are also not working. The furniture and rooms need updating not good value for money unfortunately. Staff are pleasant enough however I guess as it’s always fully booked there seems no impetus to undertake the renovations. It is a great location and with good staff it is shame the actual accommodation lets the experience down.

I stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment approximately 2 years ago and was very impressed so when we checked in to the same type of apartment this time I couldn’t believe the difference. The glassware were odd sizes and not catered for 4 people as the apartment allowed for. There were only 2 tall glasses. The lounges are low and uncomfortable. The soap dispensers were empty in the second bathroom. After trying to ring Reception twice and not being answered at all I went in person to ask for the dispensers to be filled. Hours after and no sign of a visit from housekeeping to refill them I called on my personal mobile and was finally answered by Reception. The reason was they were waiting for the truck to deliver their supplies. It would have been better to advise this in the first place. The balcony had not been cleaned from previous guests with drink spillage and food stains still evident. Parking is at capacity with workmen taking up a lot of them during the hours of construction next door. On the positive side, the bed linen was beautiful, crisp and clean. The view is breathtaking. We felt safe with the security measures in place and it was very peaceful with the people walking, running and enjoying life on the boardwalk beneath our balcony. Please lift your standards and bring the popular name you had back to what it was. Considering the quality of the accommodation now compared to what it was the prices need to be dropped until the standards are lifted.
