Long queue to check in. Over crowding due a delayed flight- nothing to do with us- and seemingly no plan to deal with such an eventuality so that guests not related to the flight disadvantaged at all times. . 1 hour wait to get a table for dinner- then 1 hour 15 min to actually get food after ordering. Just not acceptable. The car parking is located at the highest most outer point of the hotel roof with exposure to wind and rain when walking to the lift entrance. Several types of tea bags in the room but only 2 of the more commonly favoured "English breakfast". Fungus growing on the hinges of the shower door could not be missed when sitting on the toilet given they are right in front of your face. Not sure how a larger person would fit into that space. Yellow staining of the tiles in front of the toilet ? old urine. Dark brown substance on the underside of the toilet seat.

Stayed for 3 nights, The room was very nice, restaurant has a great selection of food and a nice bar, the staff were great and attentive, the next time I am in Melbourne I will be staying here.

Arrived in the afternoon and settled in - freshen up and head down for a drink. One silly airline had cancelled multiple flights and reception and the adjoining bar was bedlam. Grabbed a bottle of bubbles and went to hide back in my room with a lovely meal as the evening progressed. Very comfortable and clean and a huuuge bed and a wonderful shower so soon snuggled up and cosey. Would do it again - but this time will check the silly airline for cancellations first.
