The room was excellent and very clean. I was there on business and got in late. I was greeted very well by concierge and was pleasantly surprised when I got to the room to find a lovely full bottle of Tasmanian wine as well as local covalent fudge. Room was very well presented and tidy.

First time to Tasmania, and sort of randomly pick where to stay. We we're very happy with our stay. Super comfy bed, amazing views, free laundry, great customer service, clean and spacious rooms....would definitely stay again. Location In the city was close to so many good places...all walking distance.

FRONT DESK CONCIERGE STAFF WERE AMAZING. FRIENDLY, POLITE AND ACTUALLY TOOK A GENUINE INTEREST IN WHAT WE WERE DOING AND GUIDED US WHERE TO GO. ROOMS WERE CLEAN, AND FINALLY FOUND A HOTEL WITH COMFORTABLE BEDS.

We stayed for 6 nights in April in 2 adjoining/interconnecting rooms with a kitchen to give us and our teenager some space on the final leg of a 3 week family holiday. We selected Mantra as we had some Accor vouchers to use, it was central, had the amenities we needed and couldn't find any accommodation equivalent when booking 6 months prior. Overall were couldn't fault the service from the staff and location. However we do offer the following feedback. When confirming our booking prior to arrival we were routed to a call centre in Queensland rather than the local staff who were rather clueless on the Hobart accommodation. Additionally when we queried why there direct rates were on average $25 higher than other booking sites we were told we'd already been given a discount and they wouldn't price match, additionally there was no free parking and used the public parking next door that was available and capped at $18 per day to park our hirer car so long as you got the hotel staff to validate your ticket which worked out okay, but we could have done without the experience cost. The rooms were well presented and clean however the living and dining furniture was dated and uncomfortable and didn't suit the room layout. Any cushioning had long disappeared so it was uncomfortable to sit for a meal or watch a movie on the couch in the evening. Thekitchen was practical but we had to wash utensils, plates, glasses before using after discovering several items had not been put away clean. On our departure we mentioned the fridge leaking occasionally potentially due to the setting and the kettle needing replacement. We couldn't access our streaming services, but fortunately had a our surface pro with us and reception lent us a HDMI cable so we could login in scream services.
