From wine to wildlife to art and music - you're never far from it all

Adelaide has a host of wonderful thing to see and do. There's the museum and art gallery or you may be up for a tour of the wineries, Barossa Valley and Mclaren Vale will have you sampling some of Australia's best.

If you're crazy about animals then there's a load of choices including the Adelaide Zoo as well as the Monarto Zoological Park which is an exciting open range safari style sanctuary. Then you can visit Warrawong Wildlife Sanctuary with its nocturnal walks and animal shows as well as Cleland Wildlife Park. A full day tour to Kangaroo Island is most interesting with its seals, wildlife, unusual coastline features, local produce (honey and wine) and lighthouses.

Looking for something a little more homespun? Then take a trip to Hahndorf, the quaint German settlement in the Adelaide Hills. The beach side town of Glenelg is another popular spot and if you're in the Adelaide Hills you must check out The Big Rocking Horse, an intriguing toy factory and wildlife park in Gumeracha.
