From the very first contact to the last when checking out we found that all the staff were great and very helpful. The resort was clean and of a high standard and looked good. The resort was well laid out with easy access to pools and other facilities. We would definitely stay there again if going to Port Douglas.

The accommodation needs an overhaul. Mould in various areas of the apartment; bedroom drawers, bathroom. Charges to hire safe and no daily replacement of towels not great. Satisfactory breakfast. Pleasant, helpful staff and good location.

I have since shared your feedback with my Executive Team to immediately investigate the deficiencies you mentioned. Thank you for highlighting this and I am sincerely sorry you were affected. Rest assured this is not the norm. Regarding the Safe, we do not charge anything for our valued guests to use the in room safe however we do place upon your room account a refundable deposit for the key to protect against guests losing the safe key. Regarding servicing of Rooms, we provide housekeeping services for stays of 8 days or more and limited towel changes for stays above 3 days. For shorter stays of 3 days or less unfortunately room servicing is not provided. We try to be as open and transparent regarding this and we apologise that this impacted your overall stay experience. Should you allow us an opportunity to make amends rest assured we will do all we can to look after you should you decide to return again. Your feedback is greatly appreciated as it is only through such feedback that we can address any concerns or feedback that may have otherwise been overlooked. We really enjoyed our experience at the port sea in port Douglas. Breakfast was delicious and well organised. Spending time in the pool and having a cocktail by the bar was a very special experience. The only thing is, we would have the loved the room to be clean on a daily basis.

Was fit for purpose but the room was a bit basic. Breakfast was ok but not fantastic. No hot selection.

The apartment we stayed in felt a bit tired and uninviting and the patio doors looked a bit dirty. The patio furniture was wooden and well worn. The bathroom did not feel clean. The bedroom drawers in the wardrobe had mould spots on them so I did not feel comfortable putting my clothes in them or the wardrobe. Charging for the use of the safe seemed a bit extortionate. The staff were all pleasant and helpful. Good location.

As it is a keyed safe, we place upon the room account a refundable deposit to ensure guests return the key upon departure, but we do not charge anything for its actual use.
