Australia's fascinating and distinctive wildlife and the forests, deserts and coasts they inhabit are the focus of their zoologist-designed tours. Meet in Brisbane for small group tours to enjoy bird-watching for beginners or experienced birders, searching for wild kangaroos, platypus and other creatures, and gentle strolls through rainforest, typical Aussie bushland, wetlands and quiet beaches.
Day-tours include birds, other wildlife, forests, waterfalls, glow worms, and a delightful small island. Longer tours include their three-day wildlife overview tour (possibly Australia's most comprehensive wildlife tour), seeking animals in a variety of habitats and a park specialising in conservation breeding, while learning about Australia's ecosystems and uniqueness. Twice a year they visit the genuine outback for six or more days - red sands, red kangaroos, emus ... Or join an overnight trip to the mountains amongst giant bunya trees of great significance to the Aboriginals
All ages and fitness levels are welcome on most tours. Customised tours are possible. Choose from primitive camping to high-quality accommodation.
Self-drive travellers can also call in (bookings essential) at the Wildlife Ecology Centre and nature trails (90 minutes from Brisbane or Gold Coast), or arrange a nature education camp (many topics, all ages) or school/group excursion.
