Tank was conceived by restaurateur Genny Nielson and renowned chef Alastair McLeod and is located in North Quarter Lane on the ground floor of Santos Place, Australia’s first six star office building. The design is by architects Donavan Hill. With clean lines and use of sustainable materials such as Orazia Gold marble and Spotted Gum timber it shows an understated elegance and timelessness, a quiet haven away from the hustle of the corporate world during the day or cutting edge restaurant with a bustling bar by night. In creating the menu at Tank, Alastair blends his passion for local seasonal produce with the sensibilities of restraint, purity and balance of flavours synonymous to Japan. It reflects Brisbane’s contemporary sub-tropical lifestyle and provides a unique dining experience in the heart of Brisbane's emerging North Quarter precinct.

It is conveniently located close to all major transport, opposite the exciting Gallery of Modern Art. Situated within reach of the glamorous shopping district found along Adelaide and Edward Streets and close to the lush oasis of beautiful gardens at The Roma Street Parklands.
