A big day of entertainment (first Saturday of May) followed by a week of performances, events and activities for all ages.
The family-friendly activities, events and performances around the Nightcliff foreshore welcomes the commencement of the Dry Season. All events are free on the 'Big' day and there are opportunities for the whole family to participate.
The festival kicks off on Saturday with six music stages, art and dance, a free family festival of music and culture including the Seabreeze Artspace Awards, the Seabreeze Sand Sculpture Award and featuring music and dance from Indigenous Australian, to many styles from the Pacific, Africa, Middle East, Europe, Asia and India.
There will be food stalls, community stalls, indigenous stories and craft workshops and fun for all the family.
Some workshops during the week following have an entry cost.
