From the minute we arrived we loved it! The reception staff were so helpful and friendly, our hotel room was just gorgeous. We absolutely loved the view, and the beautiful balcony!!! How awesome is it having the fabulous cafe downstairs with such scrumptious food and such fantastic service! Just loved this hotel!

When I arrived the penthouse roof was leaking and the lift was out so we had to walk up seven flights of stairs. The toilet in the third bathroom wouldn’t flush the next morning, and we were continuously locked out if our room over the two days we were there due to the door lock needing a new battery to read the swipe card.. the room needs maintenance

All good with us other than, while our TV's were flat screen, and the smaller one in the bedroom was actually a Smart TV, neither were able to be connected to the WiFi System which prevented us from viewing our normal Netflix and iView shows. We had come to expect Smart TV's' while vacating, particularly when, at our ages (I'm 87) and somewhat reduced mobility, we rely on being in our room for long periods, and room rates at the Mantra suggesting "the latest".

Nice spot near the beaches and on the lovely walkway. The apartment was typical Mantra with weird alignments, vague comfort and was hugely over-priced for what you got.
