Held every 2nd Sunday and 3rd Saturday of the month, you can pick up some great craft and produce. Check with the tour desk for location and times.
Stand Up Paddle Board Festival – May
This two day event is now so popular it has become a four day festival! There are the markets, paddle board demonstrations, kids’ activities and of course the big stand up paddle board competition with $8,000 prize money.
Country Music Festival – June
The Blue Water Country Music festival really rocks! Great atmosphere, great sounds and a great time all round – don’t miss it.
Sculpture Festival – July
Artists exhibit their best works in and around Nelson Bay. You’ll find amazing sculptures on show from sand art at the d’Albora Marinas to the Indoor Sculpture Exhibition at the Sandy Foot Cafe Shoal Bay Resort and Spa. And it doesn’t stop at sculpture with things like seaside singers, aero jumping and reptile displays.
Golf Tournament – August
Male and Female golfers can participate in the Port Stephens Classic over four days and can win prizes worth upwards of $5000.
Food Wine & Jazz Festival – November
Now in its 12th year, this major culinary event offers a selection of interesting activities on the Nelson Bay Foreshore with d’Albora Marinas hosting gourmet food from local and regional restaurants, wineries from the Hunter Valley and Port Stephens along with music to make it a fantastic day as always.
