Now, the spectacular stage show MAMMA MIA! is set to wow audiences in Perth and Brisbane. MAMMA MIA! Perth 2010 is showing at the Burswood Theatre and is a charming tale of family and friendship inspired by the story-telling magic of ABBA’s timeless songs, written by Benny Andersson and Bjorn Ulvaeus . Starring members of the original Australian tour cast sees Anne Wood reprise her role as Donna, Jennifer Vuletic as Tanya, Lara Mulcahy as the vivacious Rosie and Perth newcomer Suzie Mathers stars as bride-to-be, Sophie. The story unfolds on a Greek island paradise when on the eve of her wedding a daughter embarks on a quest to discover the identity of her father bringing three men from her mother’s past back to the island they last visited 20 years ago. The MAMMA MIA! Perth season has begun and will be showing at the Burswood Theatre Perth until August 1 2010. From here the tour will be travelling to Brisbane’s Lyric Theatre QPAC with performances from August 10 – September 19.
