If you're planning a holiday with the kids, treat them to something you know they'll enjoy with the Nickelodeon Slimefest 2013!

This fun-filled, family-friendly event is packed with an amazing line-up of artists, thrilling stunts, and the Nickelodeon trademark gooey green slime, so your kids are sure to have a blast at this ultimate concert event.

What to expect at the Nickelodeon Slimefest

This year, the Slimefest is bigger than ever with a brand new outdoor carnival to enjoy before and after the performances. There are two shows on this year, at 11am and 6pm on September 27.

The event will be held at the Sports Centre in Sydney's Olympic Park. If you're looking for easy accommodation options close by, Mantra has a range of hotels and holiday apartments in Sydney such as Mantra Parramatta.

There are plenty of performances scheduled from some of Australia's hottest artists and groups, including Big Time Rush, Guy Sebastian, Justice Crew and Samantha Jade. Nickelodeon Slimefest is also hosted by Australian favourites Luke and Wyatt, so your kids are sure to have a great time at this concert.

Tickets and event information

There will be a free Slimefest interactive area open to the general public on the day of the concert, with games, rides, food, drinks and merchandise available for purchase as well.

Ticket prices vary from around $64 to $99 for the Premium Mosh area. This kids-only "slime zone" is a must for any adventurous children who don't mind getting slimed, although they must be over 140cm tall due to safety restrictions.

There's a good chance that your kids will be getting covered in the trademark Nickelodeon slime at this event, so make sure to pack a change of clothes and a few spare towels - and if you're attending, you may want to bring one for yourself as well!
