4. Chiangmai Thai
Frequently ranking highly in Trip Advisor's list of the best restaurants in Surfers Paradise, Chiangmai Thai offers a child-friendly dining environment with a wide array of tasty Thai cuisine.
Located at 5 Palm Avenue, Chiangmai Thai has a reasonably priced menu and a great location for those looking to make the most of their Gold Coast vacation. What's better, this family-run restaurant has been open since 1993, and soon grew to be so busy and popular it needed two locations. The venue is filled with an exotic Thai aesthetic, including gold-accented features, wooden carvings and elephant chairs - all brought over from Thailand itself.
Just recently, Chiangmai Thai was voted by readers of the Gold Cost Bulletin as the best Thai restaurant in the area, beating out nine other restaurants.
Asian food lovers will be in culinary heaven with the fresh and delectable dishes on offer here, so make sure to stop by with your family the next time you're in the area.
Dining isn't all casual, however. Sometimes indulging in the more luxurious side of hospitality is what's on the menu.
During your stay in Surfers Paradise, be seduced at Soul Seaduction Restaurant. Situated conveniently within Soul Surfers Paradise hotel, along the sparkling waterfront Esplanade, Seaduction is one of the city's best restaurants - proven by its rating of two hats.
Here you can spoil yourself with breakfast - served Monday-Sunday between 7-10.30am, lunch - served Tuesday-Saturday 12-2.30pm, and dinner - Tuesday-Saturday 6.30-9.30pm.
Each menu has the type of divine food you would expect from an established fine-dining venue, though if you want to truly experience Gold Coast hospitality at its finest, try the degustation menu. Brought to you by executive chef Steve Szabo, this culinary event features five courses, with wines to match.
