There's something about markets that most of us simply can't resist.

It could be the anticipation of the creative and cute things that you might find, it could be the vendors you end up talking to, the food you try, or even just the atmosphere of hundreds of happy people buying, selling and searching amongst the stalls.

For those who love the market feel, the Sunshine Coast Markets Trail might make for the ideal holiday.

You can base yourself in one of the great hotels on the Sunshine Coast such as Mantra Zanzibar or Mantra Rainbow Shores for a getaway that will help you fill your need for market shopping!

This trail is host to nine different markets, all found just along the Sunshine Coast.

There's the Noosa Marina Markets and Farmers Markets, where you'll find live music and entertainment overlooking the Noosa River.

Or you could head along to the Eumundi Markets to the north, while the Fisherman's Road Markets on Sundays are great if you're looking for a traditional experience offering plenty of food, coffee, fruit and veggies, plants, clothes, books and jewellery - just about everything you could imagine!

The Cotton Tree Markets are also found right in the centre of the coast.

To the west, you can explore the treasures on offer at the Maleny Arts and Collectables Markets, or even The Big Pineapple Markets on Saturdays.

South of the central coast area you'll find the Kawana Waters Markets and the Markets on Bulcock, Caloundra, on Sunday mornings are a great way to spend a few hours taking in the live music, buskers and locally made products.

Make a week of it, or simply a weekend - you'll be sure to come away feeling relaxed and happy!
