Get down with Dirty Blues and Roots 2
Wollongong is set to party with a bigger and better than ever Dirty Blues and Roots 2 festival in September this year.
Held at the Towradgi Beach Hotel, one of Wollongong's premier live music venues, the event follows a successful 2013 festival that celebrated all things blues and roots in New South Wales. Join fellow revellers on 21 September in Towradgi to bust a move to the music - which lasts for a whopping nine hours! The event kicks off at 1.00 pm and runs through to 10.00 pm, giving you plenty of time to take in all the action.
The line up for this stellar event includes Ash Grunwald, well-known for his frenzied guitar playing and ability to have crowds on their feet in no time. Ash blends roots, beats and grooves to produce truly exceptional music, and as such has been nominated five times at Australia's ARIA Awards. He even has an APRA songwriting award under his belt, and stands as one of Australia's most loved blues musicians.
