1 - Redirect your mail
Remember to redirect your mail to your new address! Not only could you miss out on some important mail if you don't, failing to redirect your mail could annoy the next person who lives at your previous home.
Be thorough in changing your address by contacting the relevant organisations with the change, such as your bank and various government agencies. For anything that might slip through the cracks, organising a mail redirect at your post office will do just the trick.
