You can also use the run as an opportunity to raise money for a cause close to your heart. Last year, teams raised a collective total of over $150,000 for their chosen charities - not a bad effort!

Once you have completed your run, you can then sit back, relax and enjoy all of the other activities that the Sunshine Coast has to offer.

Base yourself at Mantra Mooloolaba Beach, which is located in the heart of Sunshine Coast and close to many other beautiful beaches and shopping precincts.

Here you will also be able to revive those tired muscles with a swim in the indoor pool, or have a nice spa or sauna.

After all that exercise, you will also well and truly have earned a delicious meal from the hotel restaurant or nearby food havens!
