One Direction to happiness

Prepare yourself - one of the biggest musical acts in the world right now is coming to Australia. That's right, One Direction is heading to our shores, and you could be part of the action.

The British pop act are bringing their On The Road Again tour Down Under, lighting up ALLIANZ Stadium on 7 February. The gang will then travel around the country, stopping in at Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth.

It'll be the first time in two years the loveable band has been on Aussie soil, and fans will no doubt be thrilled to see the young men back on the stage. The tour will see One Direction play songs from their most recent double platinum album, 'Midnight Memories', along with old favourites from hit records such as 'Take Me Home' and 'Up All Night'. It's set to be one of the biggest events in Sydney for the year! Tickets are still available and can be purchased here.

About the band

One Direction is made up of Zayn, Niall, Louis, Liam and Harry. The British boy band have captured the hearts of teenagers and adults alike all over the world with their blend of infectious energetic pop songs and heartfelt ballads. They burst onto the scene after being formed during the boot camp stage of The X Factor UK, having originally entered the competition individually as solo artists. Despite not winning the final, they have become one of the world's most successful music groups, selling more than 50 million albums, scoring dozens and dozens number one hits and performing to millions of adoring fans.

"One Direction are touching down on Australian soil this February, giving you the chance to make all your music dreams come true."

After releasing 'Midnight Memories', the group were named the IFPI's Global Artist of 2013 and became the biggest selling act in the world. They had their first three albums go straight to the top of the US Billboard Chart, which had never before been achieved by a band, and have achieved global success.

The boys regularly sell out stadiums around the world, and their concerts are filled with fans dressed up in 1D clothing, screaming their names and singing along to all the songs. Expect to hear hits such as "Best Song Ever", "What Makes You Beautiful", "Live While We're Young", "Little Things" and "Story of My Life". If you don't know the words already, get practising!
