Get ready for a fantastic range of worldwide sounds to hit the Australian stage, with the advent of the Australian International Music Festival this July.

This year's event, set to take place between July 6 and 13, marks the festival's 25th year, which is known for boasting a huge variety of participants and attendants from around the world.

From Australia to China, New Zealand, Singapore, Japan and the USA, the event showcases wind bands, jazz groups, orchestras and more. Though it's more than just a musical festival - it's a veritable cultural exchange, too.

Performances are scheduled for the stunning Sydney Opera House, an exciting opportunity for both those musicians part of the line-up as well as audience members who will be treated to this gorgeous venue and great music.

Other performances will take place at the Sydney Recital Hall (Angel Place), St Andrew's Cathedral, Captain Cook Park, Sydney Conservatorium, Sydney Town Hall and Massed Choral Works. This variety of venues will provide a wonderful range of musical experiences and sight-seeing opportunities from those coming into the city from out of town.

However, it doesn't all end there. There will also be workshops and rehearsals for all sorts of musicians, many held by incredibly talented artists in their own right.

Make sure you plan your holiday accommodation for when you visit Sydney for this festival.

Mantra 2 Bond Street is a wonderful place to base yourself for the celebrations, as it's right around the corner from the Sydney Opera House, Darling Harbour and more of the city's attractions. Choose from a comfortable executive studio apartment, a one or two bedroom apartment or a 3-bedroom penthouse, which includes stunning views of Sydney Harbour and the city.

Similarly, Mantra on Kent is found in a central location and many activities are within walking distance. Opt for a studio apartment, one or two bedroom apartment or a one bedroom deluxe apartment for extra comfort.
