Get ready to sway to the beat of British songbird James Blunt as he makes his way to Australia this June for a wonderful series of concerts around the nation.

Not one to leave anybody out, Blunt is even gracing the shores of Tasmania on his trip Down Under. You can catch him performing at the Derwent Entertainment Centre, located on Hobart's Brooker Highway on June 10.

Make sure you clear your calendars for the night from 8 p.m. onwards, as this is one sweet and soulful concert you don't want to miss.

James Blunt emerged on the music scene back in 2006 when he romanced the hearts of many women the world over with dreamy hits 'You're Beautiful' and 'Goodbye My Lover'. Since then, he's been a regular on the charts with his swoon-worthy songs and is about to release his forth studio album, Moon Landing.

The album's first single 'Bonfire Heart' has made plenty of waves on the radio, already hitting number one on the iTunes single chart, so music lovers can expect great things from the rest of the album. After all, he's produced numerous hits, been nominated for Grammys and won plenty of other significant awards.

Touring the world from Canada and the USA to Australia, New Zealand and Europe, fans of Blunt's signature romantic tunes and haunting ballads have a lot to look forward to.

So what apart from great music can those attending his show in Hobart expect?

A full band, for one, which will bring Blunt's trademark sound to life in a big way. The singer is also famous for his graciousness and charm on stage, so expect a bit of playful banter and a whole host of gratitude along with his sensational songs.

"If you love British songbird James Blunt, you will want to head to his upcoming show in Hobart this June."

Australian act Busby Marou will support Blunt at his Hobart show. This talented homemade duo, made up of Tom Busby and Jeremy Marou, produces beautiful pop tunes influenced by the folk and country styles. They've been experiencing success throughout Australia and abroad, so if you don't yet know Busby Marou, expect to be enchanted by their unique mix of sounds, featuring at some point or another mandolins, ukulele and whistles!

There is still time to get your tickets for this hit show, and with general admission options available it's a steal to see this superstar in the flesh.

Hobart is a beautiful destination, so make sure you complement your experience with comfortable holiday accommodation.

If you have time during your visit, make sure you stroll the city's gorgeous lanes and head to some of the Hobart's famous sites, including Salamanca Street and its renowned markets that operate every weekend. Head down to the waterfront district and spend some time taking in the beautiful boats and harbour view, and perhaps even head further afield.

The remains of Port Arthur, one of the country's most famous former penal colonies, is less than an hour and a half's drive from central Hobart and is a fascinating look into Australia's past. It's perfect for history buffs and those who love exploring spooky ruins.

When it comes to your stay, Mantra One Sandy Bay Road is a great central location nestled on a quiet street, giving you the best of both worlds during your time in Tasmania's capital.

Choose from a studio or a one-bedroom apartment or executive apartment for a stay in the city with style.

Expect your own personal kitchenette, lovely furnishings, television and of course a lovely bed to sleep in after enjoying your day exploring Hobart or night out at the James Blunt concert.
