There's nothing like having a to do list handy to help you identify your top priorities, and when you're travelling somewhere new it's no different!
A list of what to do, where to eat and all the top sights to take in can help you plan the perfect holiday.
There's so much on offer in Brisbane that it's a great idea to check out our to do list to see what some of the top attractions for 2014 are.
The Gallery of Modern Art is always fantastic to visit, but is currently more exciting than ever due to the Cai Guo-Qiang: Falling Back to Earth exhibition, which runs until May. This might just be one of the most dramatic gallery exhibitions you ever see, so don't miss out.
Live music lovers simply must head to the free shows on every Sunday at the Brisbane Powerhouse. The Livespark show serves up a refreshing mix of indie-pop and rock bands from around the city - so who knows, you might just discover your new favourite band. It's a great family-friendly event and a wonderful way of getting social on your Sunday, plus it comes without a price tag!
Also on 2014's Brisbane to do list is getting active in the city. Get started with the Wynnum parkrun, on every Saturday bright and early at 7 a.m. It's free, it's five kilometres and you can run at your own pace, so there's no excuse not to don those joggers! There's plenty more left on your to do list, but you'll have to book your holiday accommodation first.
