Adelaide FestivalChallenge your mind at the Adelaide Festival

The Adelaide Festival has been bringing Australians and visitors from around the world the best in all things arty for over 30 years.

This year, the festival kicks off on February 28 and runs until March 16, offering ample opportunities for a visit to the city - so why not stay for the whole festival to get as much out of it as possible?

Prepare to come and have your eyes opened, as the festival's program is known for its tendency to push the boundaries, challenge preconceived notions and alter perceptions.

The event also includes the renowned Adelaide Writers' Week, so together writing, music, theatre, dance and visual arts will have you captivated from start to finish.

Check out a monologue from filmic legend John Waters, watch 'The Last Impresario' in Gracie Otto's directorial debut, or check out 'Am I' from the dance group Shaun Parker and Company, among a multitude of other festival highlights.

You will enjoy each spectacle, while the community atmosphere that fills the air at this festival is also a significant part of its charms.

Of course, when you travel to Adelaide you'll want somewhere great to stay, that's close to the action and comfortable.

Mantra Hindmarsh Square is a great holiday accommodation option close to the festival centre and other central-city attractions. There are one and two bedroom air-conditioned suites, so you won't have to sizzle your holiday away. You might even wind up with a private balcony with gorgeous views over the Adelaide Hills - a beautiful view to wake up to each morning.

Check out the restaurant and lounge bar when you're peckish or keen for a cheeky cocktail after a long day enjoying the thrilling events of the Adelaide Festival.
