Larger than life Nashville songstress Dolly Parton is coming to Australia, and fans of the country icon can catch her electrifying show at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre on February 21 and 22.

After a victorious 2011 visit, Dolly will be returning Down Under to premiere a brand new album. Called Blue Smoke, the album release coincides with the launch of her Blue Smoke World Tour right here in Australia.

It's all set to go off in February and it's sure to be one of the most anticipated music events in Brisbane, so make sure you get your tickets before they sell out.

Dolly Parton has been a force of nature in the American country music scene ever since she first debuted in the late 60s.

"Larger than life Nashville songstress Dolly Parton is coming to Australia next year, and fans of the country icon can catch her electrifying show at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre on February 21 and 22.

Her musicianship, songwriting and vocal skills have been showcased in numerous songs and records including the classic Jolene, Here You Come Again and Coat of Many Colours. She also wrote and performed the original I Will Always Love You song, which Whitney Houston would famously cover years later for the film The Bodyguard.

Her musical talents are undeniable, but as a businesswoman and philanthropist her legacy has extended beyond the reach of the industry. With the Dollywood Foundation, Dixie Stampede, Dollywood and Splash Country theme parks she has also put her inimitable stamp on much more than just music.

The Blue Smoke World Tour will kick off in Victoria before coming through venues in New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia and Western Australia. If you're wondering what to do in Brisbane then a spot at Dolly's Queensland shows is a must.

Holiday accommodation couldn't be easier with Mantra on Queen giving you the perfect base for any Brisbane-based getaway. You can sing your heart out at Dolly's show and then head back to your room to relax in comfort, with an outdoor swimming pool, sauna and spa helping to take the edge off.
