Take time out in Perth

Posted By Holly On November 19, 2013

See the sights in Perth this summer. Take time out in Perth

If you're in Perth this summer, you'll be spoilt for choice when it comes to activities and attractions.

Whether you're a long term resident of Live@Mantra or you're visiting for a short time and staying in nearby holiday accommodation like Mantra on Hay, there's a plethora of opportunities for you to partake in.

Visit the Bell Tower

Overlooking the serene Swan River, Riverside Drive's Bell Tower is one of Perth's greatest attractions. Take a trip here to soak up the tower's history and beautiful architectural composition.

The tower contains the twelve balls of St-Martin-in-the-Fields, which are one of the few sets of royal bells and the only ones believed to exist outside England. They date back to before the 14th century, so you'll really get a blast from the past when you visit the tower!

Take a trip to Little Creatures Brewery

Whether or not you're a beer lover, no trip to Western Australia is complete without a taste of Little Creatures beer. Head to the Fremantle brewery, where the brand came to life in 2001.

Treat yourself to a refreshing ale, a pizza and explore the brewery, or soak up the sunshine in the backyard. There's also the opportunity to take some of the famous beer away with you, so you'll have a little taste of Fremantle wherever you go.

Relax in Cottesloe

Just west of Perth, Cottesloe has some of the most picturesque scenery you'll find in Western Australia. It's internationally renowned for its beautiful beach and lawns overlooking the spectacular Indian Ocean, plus a village atmosphere that can't be beaten.

Take a towel and a good book and you'll be sorted for a day of serene relaxation by the ocean.
