The International Marine Expo: A sailor's paradise on the Gold Coast
The International Marine Expo is on from November 1-3 at the Gold Coast Marine Precinct, and it's a must-visit for anyone who loves all things sailing.
Much more than just a boat show, the expo is a chance for exhibitors and boating enthusiasts to get together in Australia's largest boat manufacturing and shipyard precinct.
If you're wondering what to do on the Gold Coast during November, the International Marine Expo is well worth dropping by.
Mantra also has plenty of holiday accommodation in the area, so you can come back to a relaxing suite of your own after a day out perusing the best of the international boating scene.
Mantra Crown Towers is ideally located in sunny Surfers Paradise, while Mantra Circle on Cavill will have you covered with pools, a gymnasium and even a private theatrette.

All about the International Marine Expo
The expo is the only "working boat show" in the entire country and allows visitors to get a special view behind the scenes of what it takes to put together a seaworthy vessel.
A family friendly not-for-profit event, the International Marine Expo will have a wide range of boats, yachts and much more on display so even your little ones can get involved in all the fun.
Look out for the Yamaha Supertank Fishing Show, where live demonstrations from a Yamaha outboard will show you everything you need to know about top angling techniques, different types of fishing lures and wilderness know-how.
If you're in the mood for a culinary feast, make sure you check out the Club Marine cooking demonstration with chef Bart Beek at stand number 77 between 10am and 4pm.
There's also a Family Zone perfect for entertaining your little ones, and new releases at the expo from Clipper Motor Yachts, Alaska, Quintrex, Stefan Boating World and Integrity Motor Yachts to keep an eye out for.
