When you're in the mood to wine and dine, Jamie's Italian at 140 William Street has everything you need to satisfy your appetite. Featuring full-flavoured dishes presented in an intimate setting, this Perth mainstay from UK chef Jamie Oliver fills up fast so be sure to reserve your seats ahead of time.

If you're wondering what to do in Perth with your family, there are plenty of options to keep everyone happy. From your Mantra hotel, it's easy to get out and enjoy a day trip around the city with guided tours or your own hired car. Cottesloe Beach is a quick drive away from the CBD, or you could venture a little further afield and visit the port city of Fremantle. There's also the Perth Zoo, Adventure World and the Aquarium of Western Australia to enjoy.

Events and entertainment

If you're heading to Perth to watch the cricket, Mantra on Hay is the ideal choice. With the upcoming Ashes series set to take place between November and January, this hotel is in the perfect location as it lies just five minutes' walk away from the WACA Ground, perfect for catching all of the action!

The Perth Arena is one of the city's premier entertainment venues, and is located just a short distance away from Mantra on Murray. A variety of international and local acts will be taking the stage over the coming months, including Rihanna, One Direction, Beyonce and Jessica Mauboy, just to name a few. The Perth Concert Hall is another great musical venue with some of the best acoustics in the Southern Hemisphere and a great line-up of performances over the next few weeks.

Of course, there's also plenty of shopping on hand as well with the Murray and Hay Street Malls offering plenty of items to tempt even the most discerning shopper.
