Contacted prior to arrival and asked what welcome drink I would prefer. I thought this was a nice touch. Upon arrival the staff member at reception was disinterested and not at all welcoming. I needed to prompt him to instruct me about car parking. Once I entered my room I found a nice cold beer and a plate with a slice of brownie on it. This was a nice welcome to the hotel. I stayed 2 nights and when I arrived back in my room the following afternoon, I found that the bed had been pulled up, not made up. The towels had been replaced but the ice bucket that had the beer and ice from my arrival was still sitting on the bench along with the dirty plate from the brownie. This was disappointing for a hotel that is charging a premium rate. There was tea and coffee making facilities but not even a biscuit or bottle of water supplied. I stay in many hotels in my line of work and I have had much better service from a $100/night hotel. I will select a different facility for my next stay in Canberra.

Thank you to the Mantra team for a fantastic stay. The room was clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. The Easter goodie pack for the kids were a great touch! We hope to stay there again in the future and wish you all the best.
